Villa Maroulas

Villa Maroulas is a historical monument which dates back to 1426. A completely renovated villa that has preserved  the details of the past combined with all the modern comforts.

The villa can accommodate up to 12 people. On the ground floor there are two seating areas and a large kitchen. Also, there is an office space and two bedrooms, both with double beds. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and there is also a separate bathroom with shower and toilet.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms, a fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and toilet. There is also a separate bathroom with bathtub and toilet. All bedrooms have double beds and one bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds. From the roof terrace you have a beautiful view of the surroundings.

There are two courtyards. The small courtyard which has entrance through the kitchen has a Jacuzzi. Through the kitchen and living room there is access to the large courtyard where the pool is located. Around the courtyard there are several seating areas and there is a covered terrace with a dining table.

The villa has WiFi and all bedrooms have air conditioning.

In the living room there is a home-cinema with projector, TV and DVD / CD player. The office has a computer. The villa is also equipped with a washer and dryer.

 

Twice a week housekeeping services are offered and linen and towels are changed.

The village Maroulas has several “kafenia” (traditional cafe)  and tavernas and there is also a supermarket 1 km away. The nearest beach is in Platanias at a distance of 3 kilometers. The town of Rethymno is at a distance of 8 kilometers.

The airports of Chania and Heraklion are at a distance of 80 kilometers.
